Summer Swim Team

Ashford Hollow does not have its own swim team, but we are zoned to the South Briar Barracudas which is part of the West Houston Swim League.   The pool is located at 1708 Crystal Hills which is very close to Ashford Elementary.

Summer swim team is a great way for kids to learn the different strokes that will make them strong and successful swimmers - something they will keep for a lifetime.

Any child ages 5 through 18 can be a part of the swim team.  All that's required is a desire to become a better swimmer and to HAVE SOME FUN! 

Registration:
If you missed open registration, no worries.  Send an email to sbbarracudas@gmail.com and let them know you're interested in joining. Or, show up at the South Briar pool when practices start and you can drop off your registration forms then. The last date to join swim team is at the end of May.

Swim Practices:
Practices usually begin in early May after school at the South Briar neighborhood pool located at 1708 Crystal Hills. Once school is out, practices are moved to the mornings. 
 
Swim Meets:
Swim meets are held at area neighborhood pools each Monday in June. The season ends with the Championships which is usually held the last Saturday in June. 

Competition:
The South Briar Barracudas swim against the following teams: Ashford Whales, Village Piranahs and Briarhills Dolphins which are all neighborhood teams.
